When we accept a position on your board of directors or to take part in an advisory board, it is of the utmost importance for us to make this a success for all parties involved. To ensure we can do that we will require a meeting, a face to face with the owners of the company to clarify what their ambitions and goals for this company are. 

Based on this information we will dissect the company, using our own trademarked models. We want and need to know to what extent ambitions and goals are obtainable within today’s parameter or if something has to be done. We see it as our job to, on the behalf of the owners, assist the management to the extent that realizing goals becomes viable.

So when we have dissected the company we will ask the management to provide action plans for bettering branches, processes, routines, activities or other stuff to ensure that the organization is on par to realize its ambitions. We as an organization, are more than competent enough to provide the management with help and advice on how to do so.

When expectations and ambitions are aligned and our mandate is clear, we would want to impose our routines on the organization. This means that we, together with the rest of the board will decide on how many meetings are necessary each year. We will provide an agenda for our meetings.

This will at a minimum contain; marketing and sales, economic and finance, organizational development and others. We will expect to have reported, from the management before every meeting so we can be prepared. Each meeting will clarify goals, according to the business plan, where the company’s as action plans to regain lost ground or utilizing surplus resources to increase budgets and such.
